Cancer Registry Management Certificate
Support cancer research through data collection and management as a cancer registrar. Upon successful completion of the Cancer Registry Management certificate program, you’ll be eligible to take the Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification exam, opening the door to an in-demand career.
You’ll complete 21 credit hours over three semesters, as well as a supervised practicum.

Tuition
Tuition is set at a flat-rate, $480 per credit for online students.
Additional course fees, including materials proctoring fees, are not included. Online students are not assessed additional operational and activity fees or out-of-state tuition.
Admission
To be considered for admission to the Cancer Registry Management certificate program, you must have completed 12 hours in medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology I, human anatomy II or medical science, and healthcare technology before beginning Cancer Registry Management course work. Individuals with a baccalaureate degree in any field will be accepted once they complete these requirements.

Because courses in this program will only be available online, the program may not be available to all applicants. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and its online programs must be in compliance in every state where a student is located. (Visit the Online Programs website to learn more.) International students also may not be eligible. According to U.S. immigration regulations, F-1 students cannot pursue online degrees; international students in other visa categories (i.e., H-4, L2) are exempt from this restriction.
