The HIM Program is proud to welcome Robert Garrie, MPA, RHIA to UL Lafayette. Robert comes to us from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as an Associate Professor in the HCM, HIM, and HI Programs. In addition to UAB, he has extensive experience in higher education, including positions with Delgado Community College, Alabama State University, and Truman College. Robert also served for several years as the Director of Education and Accreditation at the American Health Information Management Association ((AHIMA). HIM students and faculty alike with surely benefit from Robert’s 40 years of experience in the HIM field. Welcome Robert!
